Matt Askin

Associate Director
As our Associate Director, Matt leads GGS Scotland. Matt has fifteen years experience in the environmental sector primarily focused on a range of ground gas issues.
With specialist knowledge of environmental regulation, Matt delivers pragmatic solutions to novel and complex ground gas problems.


Megan Robertson

Graduate Geo-Environmental Specialist
Megan joined the team after completing an Environmental Science BSc (Hons) degree at the University of Aberdeen.
As one of our Graduate Geo-Environmental Specialists, Megan supports team delivery of site work, data processing and reporting on a range of ground gas projects.
David Henderson

Graduate Geo-Environmental Specialist
David joined the team after completing an MSc in Hydrogeology at the University of Strathclyde, and a BSc (Hons) in Earth Science.
As one of our Graduate Geo-Environmental Specialists, David supports team delivery of site work, data processing and reporting on a range of ground gas projects.


John Naylor

Technical Director
John is a geologist with a long standing career in ground gas contamination and has been with the GGS family of experts from the very beginning.
As our Technical Director, John heads up our industry-leading ground gas technology development

Managing Director
Our Managing Director Simon is an engineering geologist by training and an environmental geologist by practice.
With over 40 years of professional experience in both the public and private sectors, Simon brings extensive expertise from the world of ground gas and contaminated land.
